Hello! I am a newborn photographer based out of Madison, Wisconsin. I specialize in beautiful maternity and newborn photography.
I love documenting new life through the perfect blend of lifestyle photographs and posed newborn portraits.
My goal as a photographer is to help growing families decorate their homes with beautiful, personal artwork. Artwork that makes them smile and melts their hearts daily. Artwork that brings them back to those precious and fleeting first days of meeting their child.
I have a LOT of fun with my clients and love gushing over their beautiful newborns with them.
Some clients get nervous or anxious about their sessions. I am here to reassure you that your concerns are common, and shouldn’t be concerns at all!
CONCERNED ABOUT INSUFFICIENT LIGHTING IN YOUR HOME?
Don’t be! I have creative ways to set up the photo shoot to ensure beautiful newborn photos for your family. I use natural light from windows, open doors, or reflectors to gain sufficient lighting – even on cloudy, rainy dark days.
CONCERNED ABOUT SPACE IN YOUR HOME?
Though I come with a lot of gear, I actually need very little space to create a beautiful, sleepy newborn photo. I can assure you we can find an entryway, a doorway, a room, nook, or cranny to place the beanbag or a small basket in.
CONCERNED YOUR BABY WILL CRY?
Your baby might! That’s what they do. However, I am incredibly patient. I know all the tricks of the trade to calm and soothe a crying baby.
I have a sound machine with a vibration setting that works wonders. I have 4 of my own small children, one of which led me to master the bounce, sway, shush, and swaddle needed to calm any baby. I have MUCH experience handling babies and young children. Want a lesson in swaddling? Just ask 🙂
